Ok, time for me to take a deep breath. The project is done for the most part.

Now we will do some final testing and hopefully get this posted for purchase.

I'm gonna see about making a movie to introduce it. I see kids doing it, so I may be able to figure it out.

Thanks for the help, Dan. I worked all day. I paid a lot of attention to the calendar and that blew out most of the day.

Tomorrow I'll do the text email body and move to the send loop. The html took so long because I did the data selection while doing that. With the data selection and parsing out of the way, the text may go quickly.

From what I can see from this preview, this just looks like the forum. Are there or will there be customizable columns/blocks?

Define customizable please.

But before you do, I'll say that the email can look like anything and I mean anything you can dream up on the html side.

For instance, turn off all the forum info and send an entire web page, the data between the head tags, and that's it. Of course the css will have to comply with the style you are viewing your forum in at the time you send the EZ NewsLetter, or you'll have to use inline css.

I will likely add a place and setting to exclude the forum css and include custom css in the header as required for that purpose too though. In fact, I'll likely do that immediately before release.

So, turn off the forum info, check a box for custom css and paste in the css, and then on page two, paste in the html code that goes between the <head> tags.

How's that sound?

I'm done coding and have 45 more phrases left out of about 165 or so to put in the xml before I release the EZ NewsLetter. We'll be 100% phrased and language compatible.

It will be worth the wait.

Another question... and I'm sorry but I think I posted this elsewhere on the site as well,. but it fits here.

Is the layout customizable? My apologies if I'm being redundant. By layout, I mean, can we make the newsletter a 2 and/or 3 column newsletter, much like a vba cmps page.

Yes you can. You can lay it right on a .page background with a header and footer like cmps and forum home.

Or you can blank the template or use a custom set copy with a blank main template and send 100% custom html emails. Your imagination is the limit.

Well, your imagination and some security limitations. Javascript and a most other active content won't work in email. That's any email, not just EZ NewsLetter.
