Problem with registration and this mod

Greg it seems that several people are having this issue, tho I didn't know about it til it happened on one of my clients' sites the past couple of days.

When someone (anyone) attempts to register, they click that acceptance box, then hit the Register button, and are taken to the screen that is shown in my attachments below. Nothing in between.

I was troubleshooting his mods (there's only 5), and once I disabled this one, registration was fine.

Any ideas? As I said, several admins seem to be having this issue, according to this thread at vb.com

I think that happens when the age screen is disabled.

But, I will try and duplicate the problem and holler right back.

I'll try in on my forums both ways, with and without age verification. Can you link me to a forum with the problem to look at the html?

Thanks!

I just tested with both the coppa must be 13 and over to register and coppa off and the registration went through.

I suspect there may be a template edit issue with those having the problem.

I'll look closer again and test another forum.

The problem occurred for me after upgrading to 3.8 Greg. I thought I had emailed you to let you know I had to uninstall it. If it helps your troubleshooting process, I do have vbAdvanced CMPS 3.1 on the site in question, and that is the only mod to the stock vBulletin install.

Recaptcha seems to be working tight for me with 3.8, so I hadn't thought much about it since then.

I just tested here on 3.7.5 and it works.

I just upgraded another forum from stb 1.2.1 to 1.2.2 and it works fine with vB 3.8.1.

I'm looking for clues. Until I get a link to a forum with the problem, I can't solve the issue.

Well it looks like I was running 1.2.1 when I had the problem. Perhaps you've already fixed it, and the answer to Peggy and the other folks at vb.com is "upgrade to 1.2.2"

I replaced the zip file on vb.org in case it was damaged.

ooops sorry that I didn't keep up here. My clients forum is running on 3.7.4, and my forum is running on 3.8.0. So I truly don't think that it's a vB version issue.

It seems that everyone who's had the problem, has disabled it.

Greg, I'll go get the new zip and upgrade it on my clients' forum and see if that's the problem. If the issue is still there, I'll post a link back here so you can quick get it before I have to disable it again, if in fact I do have to.

So hold on to yer britches. I'll let you know shortly.
