Can the FREEBS be used for things other than books?

Can FREEBS be altered to pull down items from Amazon other than books?

For instance, if a person ran a music website dedicated to a band or type of music, could the FREEBS contain items like CD's of that band or genre of music, or is that out of the scope of the program?

I found a basic php script which may suffice for what I'm looking to do. Basically similiar to what FREEBS is, although there's no MySQL backend.

You can have a successful store with no MySql Backend. However, with the MySql back end, you can store specific products and feature them in a index of products based on a topic or keyword.

This is what we do in FREEBS. The books stored in the MySql database of FREEBS are what create the on topic keyword based book index pages.

I hope to do something similar for us to sell other products. I'm not sure what categories or how it will work yet though.
