Hosting company installed PHP5

When my hosting company upgraded to PHP5, some of my FREEBS pages won't show on several sites - seems random. One site will show index.php, but not book.php. The other site won't even show index.php.

Here is the list of PHP configuration changes my hosting company made with PHP5:

y2k_compliance - was Off, now On
output_buffering - Was Off, now 4096
allow_call_time_pass_reference - was On, now Off
error_reporting - was E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE, now E_ALL
variables_order - was "EGPCS", now "GPCS"
register_globals - was On, now Off
register_argc_argv - was On, now Off
magic_quotes_gpc - was On, now Off

Any ideas on how to address this?

Not a clue at the moment. I will have to do some reading.

I don't have access to a php5 server, so that will present another issue as well.

That's a helluva change to make, did they warn ya? I mean there are lot's of apps not php5 ready IIRC.

Looks like everything is OK now. The problem was in my .htaccess file.

Noticed this [url=enginsite.com]phpEditor[/url] has a default install of php5 and newer installs of mysql as well. Have not tired FreeBS with it yet. I downloaded and installed the trail version and will give it a try with FreeBS next week when I am back home.
