I need help with several things, please help

Hey guys,
i've been working on my forum lately but i've run into some problems.
First off some of the images wont appear, i have spent hours trying to find the code where the image link is so i can change but i havnt had any luck, below is a screenshot of it: (one is the send message dropdown, and one is the selection drop down for visitor messages)



If somone could please help me find how to remove these images all together so i dont even get an X anymore, or tell me where it is trying to find them so i can place an image there, or tell me where the code is so i can edit it myself id be greatful!

Secondly i was wondering how to change the position/alignment of the postbit. Below is a picture of what i want to do:

Right click on the image to see it's path and fix it.

For vertical post bit select legacy post bit in thread display options I think.
