Is there such a thing? I have a lot, but women do searches based off of these keywords the most, but they don't show up as "great" keywords on that engine I tried out.

It depends. How many are we talking about? Are you paying for each click through? If so, there is definately such a thing as too many.

Are you talking about the meta description and meta keyword tags in your source code for your vB forum?
If so just don't repeat the same words over and over. |

I have seen 20 said to be the max you should have. But I think that is too many. I go with 5 or less then 10 myself.
Don't repeat too many keywords on too many pages either.

I have about 50 to 75. I lost count because I just keep adding to it. Yes, the meta description. I only add it to my vb options. I don't know hwo to add it to pages. The webtemplates hack calls for meta tags and I'm not sure why when the content is on the same page, but anyway, so I have too many? OK I'll condense! Thanks!

I'm sure that's way too many.
Try and spread them out, but certainly keep the list.

Look at what other forums are doing by pulling the source code view from your browser or hire Noppid to help you if you need professional management!

When on another forum....in IE click "view" "source"...and it will display the source from what is being displayed. It wont of course show you the source code....but you can at least see what they are using for META.

I did that in the past and they use lots of keywords too. I'm going to bring it down to 10 tonight. Thanks!
