I have xp on a puter and when I save a file or send one to the recycle bin it comes up with a popup wanting to install a program on the puter. It's the same prog. all the time.
This prog is allready installed on the puter, so how can I make this crazy thing stop trying to install it again?

are you sure it is installing and not just their media monitor starting up?

no. It's wanting to install.

did you get an update from windows update for the roxio program? check your updates in "add/remove programs"

I had an hp printer driver to get updated via windows update and it was always trying to install over....not finding a file and wanting the cd to be put in..which i didnt have.

its a starting point anyway...check it out
