Network/LAN Problem

It's me once again :/

My problem this time is that well... my family has 3 computers connected to our router. We have sympatico (PPPoE) for our ISP. Two computers can always connect to Internet Explorer right away (no down time) and our third one often takes about 5 minutes to get it a connection (not just in IE). What I have to do to get a connection, is click links madily and keep opening and closing IE until a connection is found. Once again, help me please :)

Try setting a Fixed ip of like 192.168.1.xxx for that machine and make sure the Gateway and DNS settings are correct.

How do I make a fixed ip? And how do I know if my gateway and DNS settings are correct? (im a noob...)

Set them in control panel->network settings under tcp/ip for your network adapter. Look at one that works for an example.
