First off I'd like to thank noppid for helping me physically fix my network :)

I have 3 comps currently connected through a network. Two of them r using XP and other is using 98. What I would like to know is how to make a drive that we can all use and share files. As well, I would like to be able to print off one of the other comps printers.

Thanks for your help in advance :)

1) What I would like to know is how to make a drive that we can all use and share files.

2) As well, I would like to be able to print off one of the other comps printers.

Thanks for your help in advance :)

1) Pick a computer and in network settings add the service "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft networks". After that create a folder on that computer to use to share the space. Now right click on that folder and select sharing to share it and follow the settings.

2) Follow the above on the computer with the printer, but share the printer instead of a folder. Then on the other computers select "network" printer for the printer connection when installing the printer.
