Dave420 Guess I'll be the first to jump in here.. I think under the circumstances, 911, Afghanistan, Iraq, the European reluctance to stand behind us, he has done a very good job. But I, unlike some see the economy and the war as being inter-related. In other words, the War On Terror and the economy are on parallel paths. It's all a matter of confidence. And while there are people and groups out there sworn to our distruction, it will take more of our resources to combat that threat. When and if people and corps. feel safe and unthreatened the economy will rise again. We all are feeling the crunch. Once upon a time I had a little mad money each year, from interest on CD's, well that's no longer the case. So trust me when I say most everyone is feeling what's going on.

Now I'm going to surprise you, I really wasn't sure about Bush, and in some ways I'm still not sure. But.... The alternative at the time of the elections was much worse than Bush... Wanna know why I felt comfortable voting for him? I knew he wasn't half as bad as people made him out to be, that he would have grown ups around him, and that he would be able to delegate authority to those who maybe understood the subject better than he. To this point I think I made a good decision.

This country is to big and to diverse to think any one man can be held responsible for all that is good or all that is bad about this country. Hopefully he simply represents and is the mouthpiece for our wishes... After all that's why we are vested with the power to keep or elect someone new every four years...

I think we jumped the gun in IRAQ so he could cover Daddy's ass and I've yet to see the smoking gun.

Now if he comes back and repeals NAFTA and the DCMA then fixes our econemy, we'll be getting somewhere.

personally i cant complain....he and congress has kept my UEC extended since last January.....not to mention the free schooling

i hope he doesnt follow through on the new gun laws...that will be very disappointing,,so ill hold out on my poll vote
