Anyone else out there doing combat robotics or am I the only one that deranged on the forums?

Lol.. nope you're not the only deranged one.
I am into combat robotics as well, however I build atonomous combat robots, where the robot makes all it's own decisions, not the remotely controlled ones.
Though I'd be happy to engage in any discussions on the topic.

I'm deranged. But, that's only cuz I love the smell of leather. cracking the whip and turning men into wimpering little fools. ;)

Anaconda,
Personally, I think that adding a bit of autonomy would really up the effectiveness of some bots. Lifting arms and flippers frequently just miss their intended victims due to slow human reactions.
Racin,
I don't see anything at all deranged about that. ;-)
