Login issue

I have just upgraded to version 4.0 and I immediately am regreting it. When I attemdt to login to the adnin panel The page says thank for logging in and the redirects me back to the login form page. Is ther any way I can get to the admin page?

Sounds like the BBURL is bad. Maybe you can use the url with or without the www to get in? If not, I have fixed that by edited the DB in phpmyadmin, if that is the problem.

Which file in the database do I edit?

It's not a file, it's the bburl in the settings table. It's not something you want to mess with if you are not experienced and it may not be the problem, it's just a guess on my part that it may be the problem.
