While downloading Nortons antivirus disc, I get the small window ' (Thunk32 not found. ) Am using Win 98. I do get the program to download, but is this something I should be concerned about.

Look at this, http://msdn.microsoft.com/archive/default.asp?url=/archive/en-us/dnargame/html/msdn_mlatency.asp

Best I can say is it should be there. It seems to have to do with audio timing.

you for the quick reply. I don't think I'm comp. knowledgeable enough to try repair myself, but do have a friend I can ask for help. At least now I understand what it is, and how to fix it. Again thank you.

I'm using win.98, went to accessories, system tools, inbox repair and searched till I found Thunk 32 & Thunk 16. When I opened them both were reading damaged. I hit the inbox repair and luckily they were both repairable. It is a file that has to do with audio, and I think it is the little ping sounds that happen when something pops up on monitor. After repairing( and I never noticed they were gone) their back. Thanks.

Thunk32 and Thunk16 are part of a feature that Microsoft made available in win95/98/Me, to allow Windows to execute 16bit code form within it's 32bit environment. It is used by some older drivers and applications, including some audio and video drivers.
