How to make an Administrator

I'm currently an administrator of our forums but am not able to perform the same functions as our main administrator even though the settings look the same as his account. Is there some kind of step by step instructions on how to configure super-admin priviledges?

Look in the forum/includes folder and edit the config.php to include your user id as a super admin.
