New Server Can't SMTP

I moved to a new server and can't seem to get the smtp to work. They just checked and said they send mail through it so it is working. I've used localhost, smtp.usacarry.com, and the ip of my site which is 69.50.130.221.

What is weird is that I had the old server settings in it and it wouldn't send but my vbulletin email options are also for my old smtp server and it is working. Any help?

When I use localhost I get this:

FAILURE Sending to Member: 1 - lukem - luke@usacarry.com it was not previously established a SMTP connection

And then when I add the IP it hangs for a while and then get the same thing.

Did you enable debug mode and see what the SMTP connection is doing before the send fails?
