FAQ
Does this mess with my search engine rankings?
No, this has no effect on your rankings at all.

Can you add additional pages like albums and groups
Yes, in a future version there will be support for more pages

Can you have my babies
Sorry no, currently not possible at this time

Can I donate something for your time
Yes, donations are greatly appreciated, and allow you to remove the copyright

Can i remove the copyright
No, in exchange for my hardwork and time, and your forum registrations increasing, the least you can do is leave the small copyright in place

What does the pro version contain
vBulletin Guest Redirection Pro (http://seovb.com/vbulletin-guest-redirection-professional-enchance-registration) information

Will there be integration with the upcoming community mailer
Yes, I plan to add an option at the quick registration that will let a user directly opt-in to your community mailer. Since the quick registration is only available at the professional version, its sufficed to say it can't be released for the lite version as it uses the standard registration page ;)

Feel free to post any issues you have with this modification or questions. Its really straight forward and simple to use.

I like this one. I have done similar with a phrase edit, but this is very comprehensive and seems very intuitive.

Thanks noppid :D

I'm currently working on v2.5 which will allow anyone to enter a forum id and redirect all new registrations there and display a notification informing them how to post or whatever they want (using the built in vB notices system) as well as other small enhancements that will convert guests to members!

hehe, I think I figured out what the other thread is about now.

You need to find out what user posted. Grab their userinfo. Fire up the data manager, set everything to what it is now and then modify it with the changes posted from your form and then save it back.

Hi Dave.... :)

We run a vBulletin add-on from Coders Shack (think they're gone now) that basically does simple Ajax Registration.

Do you know if your Guest Redirection System Pro will operate correctly with it installed? Actually, what we're after is a custom registration page that's better than the default one users who are not authorized get shipped to by vBulletin.

We also use Ted's "Welcome" page mod which has increased sign-ups a lot...

Thanks for any feedback....

Hi Badger,

There shouldn't be any issues between the two modifications. However if you wanted the Ajax registration to work on the guest redirection page, that'd take a little work. As it currently is, the guest redirection page has its own quick register form, that supports required profile fields.

I honestly, don't have much free time right now during the holidays and with a desktop computer problem, but if there is any conflict with the two mods, i'll be sure t get it straightened out at the first of the year :D
