Well IMO this proves, unfortunatly, that Arnie has no clue about normal folks on normal budgets. Convet a hummer? So frigging what, the average joe can't afford one now, let alone after a 25K refit of the fuel and engine system.

Oh well, the people of Calf. got what they asked for. Policies like this will certainly widen the gap between rich and poor.

well when you are worth many millions of dollars it is hard to think like "Normal" people-no matter how poor you started out -this is reason one why I hate our president-comming from the family he does -he has no clue.

what is a tree hugging wuss?
being concerned about the enviroment is not a bad thing ,you just have to keep track of the diminishing returns.when the cost is very inhibitive and the gain to the enviroment is marginal at best (you would still be burning coal in power plants and other fosil fuels)then the idea is just stupid.but the way I see it is -if it ****es bush off then more power to him :) .

Obviously, I was just kidding around Dave. I think most normal folks see nothing wrong with being sensibly eco-conscious.

However, don't you think that Arnie's new earth-friendly stance seems a little different than the testosterone-driven on screen persona that most folks know him by from his movies? I just have a hard time picturing him campaigning for PETA or Greenpeace.

Oh, and if you really don't know about the thw thing...

Remember the hippie teacher on Beavis & Butthead? He is sort of an archetype tree hugging wuss. Neil from the Young Ones (might have been before your time) was another prime example of this species...

I also think George Jr. is a clueless moron, but just like in the Dan Quayle days, sometimes you have to live with the hand that you are dealt.

It's kind of like when you picked kids for your team when you used to play kickball. Everybody got stuck with a few "winners" when all the good players were taken. We got stuck with Georgie and you guys got Al Sharpton...

the thing that bothers me is -if republicans are going to act like democrats and vice versa -then why dont they at least try to emulate the good parts of the compition -not the very worst......
republicans are supposed to stand for less government in our daily lives -imagine that -and democrats are supposed to make a stand on human rights(those are the good points of both) -maybe we need to send all these guys back to high school government class.....
