Have windows xp on a Dell Dimension 4700, McAfee vp and up to date. No special anything running and no problems with my PC that I can tell, except...

When I try to put up a picture that has come from someone thru their e-mail and using Kodak Easy Share,(in some way) I can not put the picture up on my screen. Pics from other sources are no problem.

It will say "picture no longer in my collection and can't be found". Have tried to see if any settings could be changed. I think I would like to un-install Kodak Easy Share because I don't use it except to transfer pictures from my camera to the PC but am afraid to. Don't want to make a problem. Pictures are something I do a lot of.

After I transfer pics from the camera I disconnect them by re-naming them and I think they are no longer under the control of Easy Share. Then I can e-mail and copy to disc to give to friends.

I want to be rid of Easy Share (I think) and still be able to do my picture thing.

What is wrong? What can I do?

Ok, this is what I did.

Uninstalled stupid Kodak Easy Share and all my problems went away.

Stay away from that crummy stuff.
