I got the attached message wile booting up tpday.
I am using windows 2000

I'd say that is a virus or trojan that was slipped in and is trying to run from the registry. It can't find it because you flushed your cache most likely, which is good. Try adaware at grc.com to clean it up.

I recently found a program called "HijackThis" from
http://mjc1.com/mirror/hjt/

It's a simple utility that displays all the programs that are setup to run during Windows startup. It covers those stored in the registry (on both the HKCU and HKLM sides), StartUp folder, WIN.INI, etc. It also shows any Browser Helper Objects (BHO's) that get loaded with Internet Explorer. These are becoming much more popular with Ad/Spyware/Virus/Worm/Trojan writers.

Like I said, it doesn't do MUCH, but it does show you these entries and allows you to remove the ones that look suspicious.
