View Full Version : Saving Jessica Lynch
I think this is a little premature considering we are still fighting and losing soldiers everyday. Granted it's a wonderful thing we got her back, but what about those we are losing on a daily basis? I think it's irresponsible to air this celebration while others are actually still dying and not being rescued.

but how can Bush win the 2004 ellection if we dont start with the feel good stuff now? ;)
It's always about Bush, eh Davie. I suppose he wrote and directed the movie?
This is hollywood at its worst. Just wait until we get their version of the events of 9/11.
On CBS they said Jessica is disputing the Pentagons version of her capture and rescue.
They claim she emptied her weapon defending herself. She says she didn't fire one round.
I think Dave is correct on this one...Feel good proaganda to prop up Bush.

Sure, George Bush came up with all this, that makes perfect sense.
I'll go you one better, I think maybe George Bush planned her capture by a group of fake Iraqis so that he could film the eventual rescue and have a feel good story to combat the negative publicity that this whole thing has garnered.
And what about that black girl, Shoshanna something or other, who was also a POW around the same time? Maybe this whole Jessica Lynch movie thing is being forwarded by some sort of neo-nazi group to make people forget about the "other female POW."
Boy, it sure makes you think...
It's not George himself, but the machine. Man I don't have to explain this to you, you know about the behind the scenes people that manipulate the public through TV.

Don't quote me wrong on this, but I just don't understand. A person joins a volunteer army, lose's thier direction on a mission, (A major goof up ask any vet) gets rescued, and their a hero? Saving who? I'll stick with guys like Audie Murphy as a hero. Just my opinion.

I'm with you Scarecrow. If anything they should all be charged with dereliction of duty if it was a real war. This is propaganda at it's worst.

I have a feeling you won't be happy until Hillary's in the White House.
Did anyone watch it last night?
I saw what may be close to the real story on 20/20, but didn't watch the Jessica show.

It looks like the "Bush Media Puppets" picked the wrong Appalachian trailer park trollup to turn into their "girl next door" movie of the week subject...
