vBpicGallery Edit Gallery Interface Rework

We're creating an entirely new edit gallery page and interface. Multiple files can be selected up to the gallery limit for the member for upload at once. Just select, sit back and watch. The photos are added to the page and ready to have descriptions added. We believe this will be much faster and production like operation.

All AJAX return communications to the javascript interface are being converted to XML.

Javascript alerts are being phrased.

No more javascript files to edit. (But I think we go that one on 10.7.2.)

The interface will require javascript on in the browser as it's been before and the browser will require the adobe flash player add on. However everyone has that already we believe or would not object having it as far as we can tell.

Notice the multiple files selected. :)

I don't have an ETA for release, but the project is active and moving at this point. We will likely ask a few of you more advanced admins to help us test before a full release.

Well, this is dead. Due to the way Flash handles cookies there are too many ways to exploit the script and it just plain breaks vBulletin sessions.

Too bad.

What we're looking at now is a five entry upload box like the vBulletin attachments windows and we'll see how we do that way.

If they fix flash 10, maybe we can revisit this. Flash is broken and uses IE cookies, not FF cookies for instance even when you use FF. Not cool.
