View Full Version : Upgraded VB forums to 3.7.0 | Won't let me add/edit gallery

Hello,
I just updated my vb to the latest stable version. I'm even testing it out on the default skin. You can view every gallery and all the pictures, but when you edit a picture it gives this message:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.


I checked and I'm still able to leave comments, too.

I just checked and also I am only able to access the gallery in admin CP under vbulletin options. I can't find where vbpicgallery is under the usergroups.

Did you upgrade vBPicGallery to 10.7.1?

We're still using the old version. Just because we don't really have any use for upgrading. Our vbpicgallery is heavily modified. Is there anyway to get this fixed at all?

I'm sure there is, but I have no idea what it is. We only support the current code as with vBulletin.

Ricky HOW did you get the thumbnails to open in a new window.??? I need this info.

Also did you try reverting all templates? I usually have this problem.

I got it figured out... I just forgot to upload 1 file.

Anyhow, the thumbnails aren't actually supposed to open up in a new window. I'm still working out all the little bugs. They are supposed to open like this image does in our store: http://www.mcrparts.com/shop/1988-1993-MAC-V8-73mm-Mass-Air-System-Ford-Mustang-cold-air-intake-p-16579.html

Ohh so light-box. I actually like the way you have them open in the new window 'sized to the image' and not a whole page. They both look good.

I have not upgraded my picgallery either because I have it looking the way I want and have almost 4000 images in there and members would have a fit if it stopped work for 10 minutes.... and I am not that capable
