Hello everyone, since I am still using version 10 because I have it looking exactly the way I want.... and an upgrade will likely go bad for me.... and I have 4500 user photos posted in the vbpicgallery...

I tried to figure out how to get the thumbnails to open in a new window but can't figure it out, help?

or open in a light box.

Actually if I could just get the users gallery thumbnails to open in a new window I'd be happy.

Your gonna need to upgrade to get the files you need I think. Try looking at the newer versions and see what you have to add to upgrade your custom templates. It's gonna be subjective to the templates your made and what needs to be added.

It would be easier to upgrade and recustomize your templates if I had to guess though.

Ok noppid. I think I have to upgrade my subscriptions? When I log in here, it does not seem to recognize that I have paid?

Last time you manually had to add me. BUT this time ....... it may be because I really have expired so if you tell me I have expired then of course I will update the subscription.

This picgallery upgrade is not going to go well. I tried to update one vbadvanced last month and it was a fiasco, so bad that I deleted it totally and made my own main page php template by following instructions from vb.org

Noppid KNOWS I am no guru... LOL

I did however learn to take a full backup via mysqldump tho I'm sure I could never restore one, at least I take backups once per week so someone I have to pay can restore it.

Just keep a backup, the vbpicgallery install/upgrade is not tough, you'll be surprised. Upload all the file after you edit two, install the product and revert all the vBPicGallery templates.
Yes you expired. 09-04-2006 to 09-04-2007 was your last access.

I looked at my emails (searched and it seems to confirm my suspicions and so have you that I expired, poof). Well I'll take care of that now!

And I know you will help if I make a big bobo as I expect to. Noppid has always been here to help anyone even if it means he has to login to your site to assist. He supports his script 100%.

vbPicGallery is of the best supported scripts I know of.

Thanks, I thought it was me as usual.

It just dawned on me I do have a test site which I will first install this new version, look around at the templates (get familiar with all the color changes etc... I will need to make etc...) before I attempt the upgrades.

What a big fiasco with vbclassified when I went live. Lousy support though the coder has returned now trying to do what he can, no instructions ect... I have finally got it going good on my WWII site.

I do not like this (see pics) so I will be looking to wipe out this whole right side area of text that links to the images (whole right table area) and just go with the thumbnails table at 100%.... and the second image, I haven't decided yet. I will also take out any lightbox words at the bottom. It looks ugly. I move all my copyrights together in to 1 table located at the bottom of EVERY page on my WWII site.

Easy stuff to remove really. The first one is a couple DIVs the second is a table.

cool, .... hey don't laugh but I still can't find where to download. I know it's me. I did look in my user CP and under subscriptions but it doesn't seem to be there and I'm wearing my special walmart 20x's magnifiers. No rush but can you give me a hint?
