I'm sure if any of you are running AVG Free 7.5 you're getting annoying pop ups every day regarding it being discontinued, and directing you to a site where they try to sell you 8.0. What they don't mention on the web page is that there is a free version of 8.0 available also.
You can pick it up here (http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html?part=dl-AVGAntiVir&subj=dl&tag=button).

Version 8 is not so good. Here's why so far:
6 people + myself have seen incredible system slowdowns with version 8 on xp.
There is a glitch with version 8 and running in protected mode in Internet explorer with Windows Vista. You cannot print anything from the internet using IE7. Firefox and other browser will but not IE. If you shut off protected mode in IE7 or disable the resident shield it will print. Vista users do not seem to be as affected by the system slowdowns that XP users are experiencing though.
I have switched to Avast. I also recommend AntiVir. For all you " I don't have any intention on paying for my Anti Virus Programs".

Sorry. You'll get no help here. We don't deal in cracked software here. If you want that help, go elsewhere.
Why do you want cracked AVG when they give a perfectly functional version of it away for free?
