Fatal system error

I have a laptop running XP that just started a reboot cycle when turned on. It starts booting XP but then shuts down before getting to the desktop and then flashes (briefly) error messages and starts all over again.

The message i have been able to read is

Stop C000021a Fatal System Error subsystem terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xC0000094 (0x75b6be28 0x0052fbf4)

Hopefully I got enough down correctly to diagnose.

I tried reloading her XP SP1 and it didnt resolve.

sounds like a bad driver or maybe a bad piece of hardware so the driver cant load -have you tried booting to safe mode ?
