laptop won't turn on!

Hello,

I have connected my laptop to AC power supply and I am trying to turn my computer on. But it won't turn on! Why isn't it turning on? Is it because of the hard drive???

That's really kind of hard to say from here. Is the power supply putting out voltage?

Yup, I can see the red light (indicating the power supply is working).

It the battery in correct? Could it be damaged? I'm guessing here BTW. :)
