www.google.com may just become one of your best friends. Using google in combination with this forum may provide you with more knowledge than you want.

There is all kinds of resources all over the web, and search engines like google, yahoo, and msn are the way to find them. The other big one is right here. But there are so many different things you can do with a computer, it's almost ridiculous.

We can answer general questions on how to do specific activities and fix various problems. If you just want to read up on how computers and MSWindows works... then, just go to sites like Google and Yahoo and type "How to use a home computer", then read the descriptions and click on the links. You just have to use common sense to figure out what sites are trying to sell you something as opposed to which ones are offering useful information.

You've obviously gained some knowledge on how to do things already though. I mean you're surfing the web and checking email. What other kinds of things do you want to do?

Make music cds, burn movies, play games, run a cad program... The possibilities are almost endless.
