it's funny -the music industry still blames music downloads and cd burners for its problems -it couldn't be a combo of a bad economy and the fact that they are suing 12 year old girls could it.............
I will not buy any more cd's(and I buy a lot of them )untill this nonsense stops and I urge others to do the same.Be sure to write to the major lables and let them know you will not buy untill it stops.this is how you can help controll big business.

I am sure that mp3's have played a fair share in decreasing sales. I don't think any intelligent person truly believes that they have not. However, they are not the primary reason why I, myself, buy very little new music.

I have bought more CD's than anyone I know (and have ever met for that matter), but my lack of new purchases over the last few years has less to do with the fact that music is available online than it does with the fact that there is little new music that I want.

Unless I choose to upgrade my library to SACD or DVD Audio, it is unlikely that I will buy a great deal of new CD's as I feel that 99% of what is now popular (i.e. what is played on MTV) sucks...

Still I agree, taking on the fans was a pretty screwed up thing for the RIAA to do and I will be less likely to buy anything for that very reason...

Last I saw it was a mirror image of BET...

VH1 Classic and M2 are kind of cool though if you have access to them.
