hey all,
I am trying to backup some of my karaoke cds, however only noticed that the called cdgs..
Is there any easy way to copy these to cdr or dvd so that they will play as normal on my dvd/karaoke player.
Thanks in advance

I've never tried copying a karaoke cd before but will give it a whirl this weekend if I get a chance. I'll let you know how I make out. I wonder if Alcohol 120***37; will do it?

I've read a number or different ways to copy CD-G's on DJ forums. Google "copy cd-g disc" you'll get hits on a bunch for cd-g specific software. In addition, I believe winamp (http://www.winamp.com) has a free plugin floating around somewhere.
I haven't linked to any of them because I've never used them and therefore cannot recommend anything. :)

It does a bit for bit copy. Has never failed me for those hard to copy discs.
