Have you chased the sleeping dust bunnies out lately? Sounds like a overheating issue maybe. Make sure all vents and fans are clean, and all fans are spinning properly

was it physically damaged?? Did it test bad?? How did the techs or you determine that the RAM was damaged??

It is very possible that if the RAM was damaged when the system was built, that the motherboard was also damaged. Your best course of action is to call the tech people of the Manufacturer of the system and get them to fix it. My guess is that they will replace the motherboard. That is the 99.9% most replaced part when a tech gets the computer.

Im not too sure..but they changed every bit to see whats working and whats not...and at the end they found out that the RAM was causing the problem. So they changed it and the computer starts up normally but when it gets random restarts..i donnt think it could be the Motherboard. I think it could be an over-heating problem but im not to sure if i should get a cooling fan or not..but for which hardware either...

why don't you let them cover it under warranty?? You could always monitor the temps wit a utility like Mother Board Monitor (MBM). That way you can see what the actual temps are. You are starting a parts replacement chase that may very well in the end cost you a lot of money and may very well void your warranty.

My friend told me to turn off auot restart in start up and recovery...but now i am getting a blue screen also known as the BSOD..could his be over heat problem? Ill proberly bring it to the tech but i want to be definite before i bring it out to them..My currnt temp for my cpu is 34 and my MOBO is 43 my video card is currently 56..Is that normal for a computer?

Thank you for your time

Those temps are acceptable. You usually wouldn't start worrying until the temp starts pushing 70C. The GPU is generally going to be higher, so 56 wouldn't be unusual. 34 is actually pretty low for a cpu unless it's asleep, and 43 is about normal for a chipset.

Sounds like heat may not be the issue after all. I'd seriously consider bufordt's advice and get it looked at as a warranty claim.

yes, if it is not a temperature issue or a RAM issue then i would get it covered under the waranty. as those two causes are the most frequent to cause those sort of problems. it could get really expensive if you dont!!!
