I shut my computer down as usual, went to start and keep receiving message.
Will not enter safe mode...File is as follows:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

I have a forum and website to keep up, I am screwed without a CPU.

I will be using my brothers when I can...Please please help me:confused:

What type of system, OS, do you have a serial number for your OS?? Can you borrow an installation CD?? I can ship you a copy of any OS install disk that you need, but you will need to supply the serial number on your own.

I can't get my computer out of sleep mode, I seem to be locked out and no keys seem to be responding. Any idea how I cet it out of sleep mode?

Hold the power button down for 4 seconds and wait till it shuts down. Then restart it.

I am running Windows XP on the system, and had an OS disk for 95 and up.
But have lent them from time to time and over the duration havent had them returned. I was truly knew you could help me, I do have the original startup disk that shipped with CPU. I have more than 20,000 HRS of work on that HD and cannot afford to lose it, a good reason for me to get an external backup.

OH wow, and for you to offer to ship me a disk is truly above and beyond what I ever wanted...pm me, IM me on msn, whichever way you want to do it my good friend. :)
