Ok guys my last post was on how to get rid of or i should say intergrate my partioned hard drive into one big C: drive instead of a C: / D: drive, so i took someones advice and now i seem to be missing half my hard drive (the D: part that i deleted)...lol... this is quite funny really but i really do want and need to get it back. I downloaded Partion Magic and i can see it, but of course you have to pay for the program to get it, so i know its there im just not too sure on how to get it otherwise ....please can someone help me before i chuck my puter into the parking lot???????? lol
thanks again

This isn't an answer to you computer question (I'd chuck it) but is that your pet in your avatar? What is it?, it's adorable.

If you are running XP, just "absorb" the available space into the existing C partition (start/control panel/administrative tools/computer management/disk management. Right click on existing partition/click "extend volume").

Hey Guys
ok istly it isnt my pet although i would love to have one and some people do, its a baby wombat so i guess you can tell where i come from. And a big fat thankyou to all especially Chewy, i have got my partition back now and when i get the time im going to reformatt it. I tried the absorbing it but it doesnt give me those options it only gives me the option of changing the path letter and i am running xp, anyways thanks again to all and have a great day!

Sorry nobody finished answering your question:

This is a partition manager. You can change your partitions around and resize them without messing up windows.
