View Full Version : Does vBPicGallery work on 3.6?
Does vbPicGallery work on 3.6? I'm having a heck of a time since upgrading to a new server. None of the images show up. The images are on the server. My server is equipped with GD 2 and already hosts other sites with vBPicGallery but this new one doesnt.
Do you have any ideas for me? Is it possible that the combo of 3.6 and the new server made it stop working because it was never meant for it to be on 3.6? I have all of my image paths correct in the vbpicconfig file.
Please help, Forum is www.cumminsforum.com (http://www.cumminsforum.com)
It's working here on 3.6 as well as many other sites. Guest can't can't view your gallery, so I have no suggestions.
Here is a file you can use to check your settings. Upload this file to the forum folder that vBPicGallery is installed in and run it.
Thanks

Sorry about that, I fixed it.
As far as the test goes, I ran it and came up with this:
Your HTTP document ROOT path is:
/home/myaccount/public_html
Your vBPicGallery images are stored in the FILE SYSTEM at:
/home/myaccount/public_html/forum/garage and is writeable.
Server PHP version: 4.4.4
vBulletin 3.6 requires PHP 4.3.3 or greater.
Server GD version is: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
vBPicGallley requires GD 2.0.28 or greater.
Server MySQL version is: 4.1.21
vBulletin 3.6 requires MySQL 4.0.16 or greater.
What do I do?
You should consider moving your images from:
/home/myaccount/public_html/forum/garage
To:
/home/myaccount/garage
This way your images are not directly accessable.
Other then that, you look good to go.
What about the little no images showing up problem? ;) http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/vbpicgallery.php

Oh, I misunderstood what you fixed. I have to take a look now and see what I can suggest. :p
EDIT: I still can't see the gallery as a guest.
I see that. Thats another problem because my usergroup permissions allow you to. What should I do?
Thanks,
Lem
Ooops, sorry. Please look at it now. I had the gallery turned off. You should be able to access it now.
thanks
Look like you are going to have to give me ftp and admin access. PM me the info.

I just updated to 3.6.3 and surfed the gallery a bit and everything works.
Don't you just love it when software works as expected? :D
