Some how I screwed up things. I have an Aspire 5000 notebook with windows xp. Stupid me started using a google tool bar for the translator. None the less, my whole system crashed with in a week. I ended up going all the back to the factory restart cd's to get the thing running again. Everything works now except the DVD drive and a program called Arcade. Arcade player players dvd's and cd's. I can play a movie using windows media player but no sound. Same thing with the interactial player. Arcade puts up a blank black screen and does nothing. The only way I can close the program is by activating the window bar on the bottom. I tried to delete arcade thinking it was the cause but warning messages come up saying unable to down load files and it won't delete. I'm lost. I've gone threw everything related to sound system files and software and nothing fixes the problem. I even updated ac97 with no luck. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. Brian
