Yahoo messenger problems

everytime i start my computer and my Yahoo messenger starts my computer goes from 32 to 8 bit ...i have to manually set it back to 32 every time i start my comp and ir also goes to 8 bt when i get new yahoo mail and click on the new mail icon ...can u help me?? thx in advance

Are you running active anti-virus and spyware?

yea i have nortan 2006 and a buch of adware and spyware programs..spyblaster, spy doctor and some others

and i also tried uninstalling yahoo messenger and re-installing it....it still does the same thing

He said to go onto Yahoo.com, and get connected to an online tech. He said that this is a known issue and the tech could walk you through the fix.

well looking on that link really didnt have anything...yahoo doesnt have a tech. so i once again uninstalled yahoo messenger and reinstalled it......the bits doesnt change anymore, however now i cant click on my away message or profile pic b/c if i do the yahoo app closes
