1) What Google says and what Google does are two different things, you will learn that if you study Google! :)

2) They don't tell you how they determine SERP's, do they?

3) Google does not tell you in advance if they are going to take out linking schemes (link farms and automated backlink programs), they just do it!

1) I again think Matt's post contradicts that and if you beleve your perception to be true, efforts are being made to change that perception.

2) They do however tell you how you can excel in the SERPs.

3) True, however the google webmasters guidelines say avoid linking schemes and link farms. If you follow the rules, that don't have any affect on you at all. If you don't, you deserve whatcha get.

Google is like any other large company as is Microsoft and Exxon, they all lie about everything, if you trust them you will be let down in the end just like Microsoft and Exxon customers are!

Exxon will tell you they needed the record profits to invest in new refineries too! :)

Bush will tell you we went into Iraq to provide freedom to the people when we all know it was for Exxon shareholders who happen to be his buddies!

I am not trying to change minds, just tell you the truth Noppid :)

But your type truth is not listened to anymore. It's a trend ya know. People want to debate issues and get noticed. Not be sheeple taking about or hearing talk about impending doom, corporate takeover, and conspiracy theories.

Readers are dropping sensationalized blogs (http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/dropping-valleywag/) from their reading lists.

The truth and hard facts are reality, not wishful thinking and thoughts that you are going to change a businesses inertia :)

We bitched about high oil prices in 1973 when Nixon rigged the markets for the first time and what is it, 33 years later his boys are still at it, so don't hope for change just because you hope it is going to happen, there is an old saying that holds true, it applies to human nature too....

There is nothing new under the Sun :)
