Hello,
Does anyone know how to convert a Microsoft Word document to pdf format (hopefully for free). Something other than Open Office. org would be nice.

Acrobat Distiller....not free though

I searched for a tool to do this a while back. What I found is that most freeware versions only allowed you to do 1-2 or 1-3 pages.

To buy the full version of almost any of the ones I found....wasnt alot of money. However I didnt buy it because I was only in need for it one time...and the document I had to convert was only 2 pages.

So if this is something you are going to use alot. My first suggestion is the full Adobe package and use distiller. Secondly I suggest any of the 3rd party apps. I tried several and they all were pretty much the same.

One of the magical things about this forum is the beautiful links that Nop has programmed to automatically show up at the bottom of the thread based on keywords used in the thread. Directly under the last post you should see some links... the first of which is "Ads by Google". Right next to it is a link for "Doc to PDF". If you click on that you will be taken to a link site with a plethora of information for what you are trying to do. Good Luck!
