Instaling a second drive

I come to you again for more info. My friends couldn't help but i'm sure you can. I recently bought a Western Digital 120 Gig HD from Ebay and i'm having trouble sensing it. I have the slave drive in the right spot and the primary drive as well but when I start my computer it says 0 diskette and it won't even show the C drive. Any help would be great.

Check the jumper settings on the drives. The existing C drive should be jumpered as master and the new drive should be jumpered as slave. Both of these drives should be on the same IDE channel if you have a CD, DVD, or any other IDE device in the system.

I have them correct. It still says 0 diskette and will not sense either HD. When I take out the slave drive the C drive shows up again?

Then either you have problems in the Bios configuration or the new Drive is Kaput...
