The elderly priest was talking to the younger priest, telling him what a great idea it was to replace the first 4 pews with plush bucket theater seats. He said he was amazed at how quickly the front rows filled up now.
The older priest continued on, "You told me a little more beat to the music would bring young people back to church, so I supported you when you brought in the rock 'n roll gospel choir. The Church has never been so full"!
The younger priest said, "thank you Father, I'm pleased that you are open to new ideas for youth".
"However", continued the older priest, "I'm afraid you've gone too far with the drive-thru Confessional".
"But Father, my confessions have nearly double since I began that", said the young priest.
"I know, my Son", replied the old man, "but that flashing neon sign, "Toot 'N Tell or Go to Hell", just can't stay on the Church roof"!
