Scanners

Hi Folks

OK I have a question about scanners. Does anyone have a suggestion about scanners for decent images that can be used after transfer. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars 'cause I can't afford it. Currently I have a HP 3400C, but not that impressed w/it.

Your's is only 600dpi optical. Try something like 4800 or so.

any suggestions about reviews on the ones that are out there?

I don't know of any particular model that is good or bad. I just know you need high optical DPI.

Wish I could help more, but it's not something I use ATM.
