I have recently reformmatted my second drive, then I tried to make a multi booting XP. But when I went to go back to my first drive, it said that the following file was missing or currupted:<windows root>\system32\hal.dll.
I tried copeing it from two other XP PC and placeing it in my old drive windows32 folder but it didn't work! I'm on the new hard drive's XP right now, but I don't have virus protection so I might lose it. While on this version I went to my computer, my old drive and its back up drive are still there! What can I do!?
