spyware problems

hey i need help
my computers messed up
something happend and my backround got chaged to something that says
"WARNING
your computer might be infected with spyware or adware !!"
and it says more
but it keeps poping up and going away and its screwing everything up i can't play computer games or see my backround
how do i fix this?

I reccomend a good firewall and adware blocker such as Zone Alarm .They have a Free version as well as a Paid version at zonealarm.com There are many others if you want to Google for them I just happen to like these peeps.

Get and run this http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

and this http://www.free-av.com/

Those will clean ya up. Uninstall any other antivirus program first.

ok so if i download them will that get ride of that thing on my desktop and fix my computer?

well i wasn't sure what to do i download the spybot but it said i needed something to run it so i had my friend fix my computer for me
hes good at fixing computer and he did my computers fixed now
i just need a popup blocker and a something to blook viruses
so do yous have any sites to download them?
