windows 2000 broken disc

my windows 2000 pro cd got stepped on i love kids I have my start up discs and program code am i sol.what can i do don't want to spend $200.00 on a new one.

I dunno how that works. But I think if you registered your key with them you can call them they may replace it. That's a guess though.

You'll need the broken disc and the original cd case. Call MS and tell them your story and they will ask you for some numbers off the cd and case. They will send you a new cd free of charge. However, if you are planning on scamming them it won't work.

With the numbers they use...they will give you a copy of the cd you have now with the same service pack and cd key number. In other words you won't get a different install of Windows 2000, you'll just get a replacement cd.
