Hello All,
I was talking to my friend through a messaging service (aim) and he sent me a link which I clicked on. My computer hasn't been right since. Now, my high speed internet provided has provided a free anti-spyware and anti-virus service. And after a little troubleshooting and running tests, I have 4 recurring error messages from the virus scan.
1.) C:\Program Files\DNS\Catcher. dll (W32/Agent.RW)
2.) C:\Program Files\ddd.exe (W32/Agent.NU)
3.) C:\Program Files\sdf.exe (W32/Startpage.TJ)
4.) C:\Documents and Settings\owner\msdirectx.sys (W32/Furootkit.B@tool)
The main effect that I have noticed on my computer is the high speed internet. It sometimes won't allow webpages to come up even though it's up and running at 10.0 mbps. It pretty much feels like a dial up connection sometimes. Lately though, it seems to be ok. I don't know. If anyone has seen these problems or knows what I am dealing with, please lend me your knowledge and help.
Thanks,
Matt
