Hey Ohio doesn't have BBQ. Ohioians Idea of BBQ is cooking Hamburgers and Hotdogs on a gas grill. The closest we come to bbq is putting open pit on a rack of Ribs. LOL!!!! It's like a sin up here or something. I never had good old fashioned Southern BBQ until I got married a hundred years ago. My taste buds went crazy then I got fat.
It was the best pic I could find. Forgive me ;)
You and my Father in law need to get together. He joined the pro BBQ circuit. He loves it. He came in 8th overall at a competition in Louisianna 3 weeks ago (2nd best on his sauce). The best part of it is...
They get so tired of eating pork butt and briskett, they send it all to me. I haven't had to fire up my grill in 2 years. MMMMM I can't wait until I move to Tennessee and go with him on some competitions.
Although I have to admit the best briskett I ever had was when I was staying in Corpus Christi for a couple of weeks.

Still cooking it upside down...lol I quit the Circuit bout twelve years ago when
I found out it was Rigged. I got First Place in nearly every Category ,,,,unfortunately The Damn Judges gave the Trophies to other peeps so it has gotta be Rigged Imho of course and I am Unanimous in this thoeory..... and Corpus Christi Brisket always tasted Fishy to Me...must be the Seaweed Coals they use?

ROTFLMAO. You're too much. In Ohio that upside down briskett would only be called: POT ROAST! Most people here would say, Where is the boiled potatoes? or they would say yummy... now go to Mr. Chicken and get some cole slaw so we can have a picnic.
I'll eat it anyway!
