First off, hello everyone and thank you, in advance for any help you are going to offer me. Now, I have an ABit IS7-V2 Socket 478 motherboard running a P4 3.0 processor which has the 8x AGP slot but regular PCI slots. Now, my question is, if I get say a Diamond Viper Radeon X600 Pro Video Card that runs on PCI express slot will my board using standard PCI slots run the card and will lose most of the performance value built into the card made for the Express slot? I am asking as I want a new video card and am rather limited funds wise right now so I don't want to waste money and time on a card that won't work well. Any thoughts and ideas?

System Specs: A-bit IS7-V2 board
1 gig ram with 80 gig IDE and 120 SATA drives, XP Pro, 500 watt PSU, and ATI 9250SE video card with Audigy gamer sound card.
