Well after 5 years on the net I finally got spammed on my private email account. I guess I should consider myself lucky for lasting this long.
This spammer is sending the same hard core porn spam every other day with spoofed addys, and there are young eyes in this house. I have tried to configure outlook to divert adult content into the junk folder but the spam gets through to my in box nevertheless.

anyone have good luck with anti-spam software and outlook??

How can I trace the origin of the spam to report to the ISP?

Thanks

Just have outlook auto delete any mail that comes from that source. (create a rule) Or do it by the subject line.
Here are a few that are always in their mail.
Date
Girls Girl
SEX
Hot
etc....

If you don't want them deleted create a spam folder for them to gointo for later vewing. Just incase some friend send you an e-mail with one of those in the subject line.

If you would like more help on this just ask.
Zero's responce will work just fine also. I just like to give people more options....:)

Have a great day....:)

i suggest mail washer because it will bounce the spam back to sender like the email addy doesnt even exist

after a month or so of using mailwasher....you will see your spam dwindle to nothing

it just depends on how much spam you get....i have 5 email accounts.....and in the one ive had the longest...going on 7 years now......i used to get over 100 spam mails per day.......now its down to just a handful per day

it is a good app for fighting this crap!

I use McAfee SpamKiller here it works with my internet accounts as well like hotmail, I'm finally starting to get rid of the worst of the spammers.I can send complaints to the ISP where the message originated as well
