Just bought a HP Pavilion dv1310us laptop and need to charge the battery. For the life of me I can't find how long it should take to charge a new battery. Anyone have an idea? Thx

Dell says it will fast charge in one hour and 1 minute for the three cell .....

Woops you have an HP sorry is it a Lithium ion ? and do you have an external charger ?

If it is then Three hours should do it and nickel Cads need @ 8.
