Currently all my programs are loaded on my 1st (sata) hard drive. Can I install another application straight on to my second (scsi) drive?

Don't really understand your question but as long as you have the card installed for your SCSI and it comunicates with your other drive then I don't find any reason it won't work but most peeps use the SCSI to boot and the Slower Drive to store at least until these new SATA 36g have come out from Western Digital, I never used a SCSI not a gamer and wasn't in that big of a hurry to boot up . Anybody else add to this????

I think he means to install programs on it. If that's what you're asking then... hell yeah!
When you set up a program, instead of accepting the default C:\program files\whatever your program is\ directory just change the C: to whatever drive letter your scsi drive is showing up as. Probably D:
Just look in my computer for your drive. If you're talking about installing an operating system to dual boot with windows the answer is still yes, but you'll need a little more coaching.

Thanks guys. Thats what I was hoping with this configuration. I want to have 3D Studio Max running on the faster scsi drive.

No Problemo. As a matter of fact it's a good idea to install programs and data on a second drive. That way if windows messes up and you have to format your c: drive. All your apps and data stay safe. Then all you gotta do when you reload windows is install your apps right over where they already are. Then you don't even lose your personal settings :)

Or save a copy of your registry and reload that on the new install....which should let you get by without reinstalling the apps
