This mod is used to display countdowns to upcoming events. The output
displays the "days until" the event and "In progress" when the event is
happening. The output is intended to go in a narrow side column. Your
milage may vary depending on your template implementation.

Events are added to the countdown list in the admincp. Each event
has a start date, Event Name, Event Link, and a selection for active/not avtive.
You may add new events, edit/modify events, delete events and set events
active or not avtive.

This does not use the built in calendar of vBulletin.

You have to edit the php file for the page you want the box to apprear on and add a template. It's not hard at all, most use it on a column on a home page.

1) Just before the final eval should work. That's at the end.
2) If you use a portal, then in one of the custom boxes.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the time on the countdown? My guess would be that the server I'm using is about 12 hours head of my real time. The result is the countdown says my events are in progress atleast 1/2 a day before they are.

Henry :D

I'm sure it's the GMT offset and I didn't have to deal with it on my server.

I have not looked at it or tried to fix it yet however.

I have to look at the date stuff. I didn't figure any user timezones into it at all. But that should not be a big deal to fix.

I pulled my stuff from .org.

Dinner just finished for me. Let me find the zip and post it as is and we'll go from there.

I'm sure I just have to read it to fix it. I'll be back in a bit and do it. Hopefully I'll have it reposted by after supper.
